A free series of workshops is being offered by the Presbyterian Foundation and the Presbytery of Tampa Bay to help vital small churches assess and plan for their fiscal (financial) health. Small churches are strongly encouraged to attend this workshop.

We will examine what it takes to be fiscally healthy, what resources are needed, and whether there is room for improvement in stewardship and generosity. This will give us a clearer look at today’s church, and also provide opportunity for networking with others who serve in ministries like yours. We will discuss common practices that have worked successfully in small church ministry.

Please join us at FPC of Safety Harbor located at 255 5th Avenue South, Safety Harbor on Tuesday August 14 from 11:30 am until 2pm. Lunch is included. This will be the first in a series of 4 workshops, each building on the prior one. It is especially designed to help smaller congregations.

Who should attend? The best outcome is when there is joint attendance by the pastor or moderator, clerk of session, and treasurer of churches that consider themselves small. If your church has a strong sense of vital call in its community, this is for you!

RSVP with names of the people from your church who will plan to attend, please. Contact Ann Marie Fizzano at the Presbytery office 813-868-4800 or email her office@pbty.com. We will need your RSVP by August 9 please!
