Accompaniment – Immigration Trainings – Led by Nanci Palacios

You are invited to join two upcoming virtual trainings shared by Sam Picard, led by Nanci Palacios of Detention Watch Network.

The first training, “Accompaniment,” will take place on March 20 from 4:00–6:00 PM. This session is designed to prepare volunteers to accompany neighbors who may be navigating immigration processes, such as attending immigration hearings.

The second training, “Know Your Rights,” will be held on March 26 from 4:00–6:00 PM. This session will provide general information to help individuals better understand their rights in situations involving immigration enforcement.

Both sessions will be held online. Beth-El Farmworker Ministry will offer space on March 26 for those who would like to gather there and participate in the training together. Please scan the QR code to register for both sessions. After registering, the same Zoom link will provide access to each training.

The Accompaniment training will be held in English, and the Know Your Rights training will be held in Spanish. Both sessions will be recorded and made available for later viewing for those who are unable to attend.
