Our Denomination
As a regional body of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the Presbytery of Tampa Bay is part of a broader network of churches working together to follow Christ, serve communities, and bear witness to God’s love. We are connected to both our national denomination and our regional governing body, the Synod of South Atlantic.
Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), or PC(USA), is a national denomination committed to Reformed theology, democratic governance, and a tradition of thoughtful, engaged faith. With congregations across the country, the PC(USA) supports mission, education, advocacy, and ministry at every level of church life.
Synod of South Atlantic
The Synod of South Atlantic is our regional governing body within the PC(USA), covering Florida, Georgia, and parts of South Carolina. The synod provides guidance, resources, and support to presbyteries in the region, including leadership development and collaborative ministry initiatives.
