Following on the 223rd General Assembly action on gun violence prevention, please share this email or the links below with your congregations. As we observe the Feb. 17 Universal Day of Prayer for Students and the Feb. 14 Anniversary of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, let us seek the unique role of the church in healing our nation. Universal Day of Prayer for Students

Feb. 17 – Universal Day of Prayer for Students
—What would happen if, on the anniversary of the Parkland, FL shooting or on the Universal Day of Prayer for Students, thousands of Presbyterian congregations prayed for God to help us respond to gun violence? What if we all joined in this prayer?
On Feb. 14 and/or 17, join Presbyterians nation-wide in the “Prayer for a Movement of the Spirit” sent to the churches by the 2018 General Assembly.
Find this prayer in the free Worship-Action Kit for Feb. 14 & 17, along with other worship and action resources, including hymns, scriptures and prayers created for you by Presbyterian students.
Warning: God answers prayers.
