Eckerd Campus Chaplin Doug McMahon is requesting help hosting international students through the college’s language program:
“We have an ELS English language and university preparation program on our campus. Our students arrive from all over the world. We are in need of persons who would like to volunteer in our homestay portion of our program… This is a tremendous and long standing program on our campus.”
The Baker family has participated in the ELS homestay program at the University of Tampa for many years, and has found it to be a great experience. Acting as a host family to college aged international students is something I can recommend.
Both the Eckerd and University of Tampa ELS programs are looking for more host families. If you’d like to know more, please check out the flyers below:
