FL Presbyterian Church Friends,
I have recently received the information that
“Presbyterian Church (USA) becomes first mainline denomination to endorse the principles of Worker-driven Social Responsibility!”
“Historic vote” by Presbyterian Mission Agency Board is the latest chapter in long history of PC(USA) support for CIW, Fair Food Movement…
I have been connected to the Immokalee Farm Workers for the last two decades, primarily through my music and fundraisers and other events for them. Last year I wrote “A Penny A Pound” for the Wendy’s boycott. In the interest of peace and social justice, I have an inkling that you would like my music.
If you want to host a concert, the week end of Jan 18-20 is open.
Please remember that route formation is always a function of who books where and when. All the booking FAQs are in the links below.
If you have school connections, you can apply for a grant through AFM Local 1000 that subsidizes college music programs. Through the Music Performers Trust Fund (MPTF) you pay me a fee of only $195.99 plus a place to spend the night. MPTF will cover the rest of the fee. The program must be educational, which all my concerts are, and be open to the public with no admission charge. The grants are first come, first served. One suggestion is to do a beginning of the Spring semester concert the end of January or early February.
Here are a few reviews:

“We have a history of mostly good, sometimes excellent programs. There are no more than one or two (out of hundreds of programs) that rank with Tom’s.” – Don Friesen, Reedley Peace Center, Mennonite Church, Reedley, CA
Tom’s music is at the core of our movement. The man is a genius.” – Dr. Jan Kirsch, 350 East Bay
If you haven’t heard his slant on social justice and current events you are missing a treat! – April Myers, Amarillo UU
His global sophistication put into performance art is extraordinary. – Kathy Hersh, Miami Friends

Please let me know if you want to book a show. Call or write with any questions.
Peace,
